These terms of use apply to the use of the website tervistoiduga.ee and to the ordering of Tervistoiduga OÜ’s services, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
1. Service provider
Services are provided by Tervistoiduga OÜ (registry code 17478616) under the brand “Tervistoiduga”. The service is delivered by Kristel Wahl. Contact: info@tervistoiduga.ee
2. The website and how to use it
On the website you’ll find an introduction to my nutrition counselling services, the option to book an appointment, and a selection of recipes to try yourself. Everything here is meant for general information and inspiration — it is not personal advice tailored to your situation and does not replace a personal consultation.
I trained as a nutrition counsellor in Estonia, at the Rahvatervise Akadeemia (Public Health Academy), and base my counselling on the nutrition and physical-activity recommendations that apply in Estonia.
Please use the website honestly and considerately. For example, this means you don’t disrupt or overload the website, don’t upload or spread harmful code, and don’t infringe my rights or anyone else’s.
3. Booking, prices and payment
You can book an appointment for your consultation through the booking system Calendly. When you book, you choose the type of consultation and immediately see its price. The prices for an initial consultation and a follow-up consultation are different. For some services or packages, we can also agree a price separately, based on your needs.
Calendly is a third-party service. For the technical side of the booking, Calendly’s own terms and privacy policy also apply.
Payment. To confirm the booking, you pay for the service at the time of booking. You can pay by Visa or Mastercard, and card payments are processed on my behalf by Stripe, Inc. Please also fill in and send a short questionnaire (for example about your health, habits and goals) at least 48 hours before the consultation, so that I can prepare for our meeting. If you book less than 48 hours in advance, please send the questionnaire as soon as possible.
How the consultation takes place. Consultations are one-to-one (1:1) and take place by video call (Zoom). After you book and pay, I’ll email you the video-call link you’ll use to join the meeting.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- If you cancel the consultation or wish to change the time at least 24 hours before the agreed time, this is free. In that case I’ll move the fee to a new booking or refund it.
- If you cancel the consultation less than 24 hours before the agreed time, or do not show up for the consultation, the fee paid is not refunded. This applies regardless of whether you have already completed the pre-questionnaire.
Please let me know of any changes as soon as possible. In the case of a late cancellation, I usually can’t offer the freed-up time to another client.
If you are a consumer
If you are a consumer (a private individual who does not order the service in the course of their economic or professional activity), you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for a contract concluded online.
If the booked consultation takes place before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, I’ll ask you to confirm at booking that you want the consultation to take place before the end of the withdrawal period and that you understand that, once the consultation has taken place, you no longer have a right of withdrawal in respect of that service.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, send an email to info@tervistoiduga.ee before the 14-day period ends, clearly stating that you wish to withdraw from the contract. If you wish, you may also use the statutory withdrawal-notice form, but using it is not mandatory.
The cancellation rules above apply together with your statutory rights, not instead of them.
4. Nutrition counselling is not medical care
Please remember that nutrition counselling is not treatment or medical care. I do not diagnose illnesses or prescribe treatment. The aim of the counselling is to support you in making healthier nutrition and lifestyle choices.
My services and materials are based on the nutrition and physical-activity recommendations that apply in Estonia. This is not a healthcare service: it does not involve medical diagnosis or treatment and does not replace counselling, consultation or monitoring by a doctor, psychologist, dietitian or other healthcare professional.
I cannot promise specific results. The effect of the services depends on your individual circumstances, your health and your own effort, which I cannot influence, and results are personal and can differ from one person to another.
If you have health problems or chronic illnesses, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take medication, please consult a doctor or other healthcare professional before using the services.
I offer my services in good faith and to the best of my knowledge, based on generally recognised nutrition and lifestyle recommendations.
If you have an acute health concern or an emergency, do not turn to me — contact a doctor immediately or call the emergency number 112.
5. The content belongs to me
The website’s texts, recipes, design, brand and other material are the creative work of me (Tervistoiduga OÜ) or my licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark rules. Please do not copy, share or use it for commercial purposes without my permission. Only a short quotation with a reference is allowed, as the law provides. For everything else, please ask me for written permission in advance.
6. Liability
I provide the website’s content as it is. I am not liable for indirect damage that may arise from using the website or from the website being temporarily unavailable — except where the law provides otherwise. Liability relating to a paid service is agreed in the terms of that specific service.
Use of the services and materials is at your own risk. All my recommendations, instructions and materials are advisory — the final decision on whether to apply them is yours. I am not liable for:
- not achieving the results you wanted, changes in how you feel, or other personal experiences;
- consequences arising from your health, past illnesses, medication, lifestyle or other factors that are unknown to me or outside my control;
- how anyone interprets my materials or recommendations partially, out of context or misleadingly, including in public channels or on social media;
- disruptions in the availability of the service or materials caused by technical faults, internet outages, the operation of third-party platforms (including payment and video environments), or maintenance.
The website may contain links to other websites. I am not responsible for their content.
Where the law does not permit excluding or limiting liability in a given situation, the limitations above do not apply to that extent.
7. Confidentiality
Everything you share during the counselling — your personal information, goals and the content of our conversations — is confidential. I do not disclose it to third parties, except where the law requires it.
8. Personal data and cookies
How I use your personal data is described in the privacy policy. For cookies, see the cookie policy.
9. Changes to the terms
From time to time these terms may need updating. I’ll post the new version on the website and add the date. If the changes are significant, I’ll also give separate notice where possible (for example on the website or by email).
10. Applicable law and disputes
Estonian law applies to these terms and to contracts relating to the service.
If you have questions or concerns about the service, or you’re unhappy with something, please contact me first at info@tervistoiduga.ee — often things can be explained or resolved simply by talking them through. If the concern remains, please describe it in an email to the same address. I’ll reply to you in writing (or in a form that can be reproduced in writing) within 30 days.
If we do not reach an agreement and you are a consumer residing in Estonia, you can turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee operating at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA), provided the matter falls within its competence, or to a court. If you live in another European Union country, you can get help with a cross-border dispute from the European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net), and the mandatory consumer rights of your home country also remain in force.
