I’m Kristel, and I’m so glad you’ve found my webpage.
I’m a certified nutritionist specializing in nutrition counseling, and I also work as a recipe creator. What I do is more than just a profession—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m passionate about helping people improve their health and inspiring them to make better choices when it comes to food, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
I got my certification as a nutrition counsellor from the Academy of Public Health. I also believe in continuously developing my professional knowledge to provide clients with up-to-date and personalised guidance. I have further expanded my knowledge through studies at Tallinn Health Care College and by completing a range of professional training courses, including those focused on celiac disease, food supplements, and micronutrients. These studies have helped me develop a broad understanding of nutrition and its important role in supporting health and overall well-being.
My interest in food began at an early age. When I was around 10 or 11 years old, I already enjoyed cooking for my family and experimenting with new recipes. This early curiosity gradually developed into a deeper passion for food and nutrition.
At the age of 18, I began working in an Italian restaurant. This experience taught me not only cooking skills but also the importance of communication with customers and preparing food that meets their individual preferences and needs. Altogether, I worked in different kitchens for about four years.
Travel and living abroad have strongly influenced my perspective on food and nutrition. I have visited more than 20 countries and lived in several different places, including Greece, where I have been living for the past eight years. Different cultures and cuisines have become an important source of inspiration in my recipe creation.
As a nutritionist, I do not believe in one-size-fits-all meal plans, strict diets, or calorie counting as the primary approach to health. Instead, I focus on helping my clients understand the root causes of their challenges and finding solutions that fit their individual circumstances and lifestyles. My goal is to support people in making realistic, sustainable changes—sometimes starting with small steps—that can have a positive impact on their everyday well-being.
If you are looking for personalized nutrition guidance and support, feel free to get in touch with me. I would be happy to support you on your journey toward better health and a more balanced relationship with food.
As you explore this website, you’ll notice that many of the recipes focus on vegetables, fruits, and berries. This is intentional.
I strongly believe that one of the cornerstones of a healthy diet is eating enough vegetables, fruits, and berries every day. Many people don’t eat enough vegetables not because they don’t enjoy them, but because they run out of ideas for how to use them in their daily meals. That’s why I share recipes here on my website that focus mainly on these ingredients. I hope they help bring more variety to your meals and inspire you to make healthier food choices in your everyday life. Have fun exploring!
