Method
- Rinse the rice thoroughly.
- Chop all the vegetables into small pieces.
- Add rice to a pot, followed by the vegetables, spices, parsley, and water.
- Place pot on the stove and bring it to a boil. Then cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, until rice is soft and all the water has been absorbed.
- Serve with your preferred side, such as Greek yogurt, chicken, shrimp, or fish.
